Before and after

Most HVAC systems in North Eastern United States with a cold climate are downfall systems (i.e. they are located in a basement or a crawl space). Because of gravity, downfall systems tend to collect more dust and debris than upfall sytems (those ones in an attic). We recommend that the downfall systems need to be cleaned every two years and the upfall systems every 3-4 years.

Do you suffer from chronic headaches, seasonal allergies, nausea, fatigue or shortness of breath? Or you are the second hand smoker? Or your partner has cats and you are allergic to cat’s hair? Or every time you turn the heat on it smells like a dead animal? If you said yes to one of these questions call us asap.

Air Duct Cleaning helps to reduce triggers to these problems by removing the top causes that contribute to asthma attacks and allergy symptoms. In addition, clean furnace and a/c coils could lower your electricity bill by 40%.

There are two types of Air Ducts:
– Supply vents, which blow air in to your house
– Return vents, which suck in air to your system.

Usually supply vents collect the mechanical particles, while the return vents suck in the dust and dirt. Dirty supply vents can restrict the air flow to your house, while clogged returns can affect the performance of your blower. In addition, if you use inferior quality air filters the dust from return main ducts is directly sucked in to your furnace.

During the cleaning, our technicians will:

– Remove all vent covers (if necessary) and clean them

– Brush and clean all supply vents and return vents

– Create access panels in order to clean main ducts and reseal them properly after cleaning process is done

– Brush and clean all main ducts

– Clean out the furnace components (gas burners, blower motor, a/c coil) if needed

– Perform  a post cleaning tour to make sure all the vents and returns were cleaned

– Close and reset all grill openings

 – Make sure the system operates properly
